So I've been very interested in photography lately and my favorites are filled with gorgeous photographs. I'd love to try photographing myself, but unfortunately the only camera I have is some shitty digital camera that my parents bought so they could take holiday pictures.

I've been saving some money and I'd like to buy a systems camera. What would you recommend? Canon? Nikon? Honestly I don't know a thing about the differences between systems cameras and I need help!

Please tell me your experiences, suggestions, anything conserning systems cameras!

I got tired of seeing my previous, boring entry so I wanted to write a new one... Only I don't know what to write about, so I'll just advertise my favorite deviants.

My friends:
is the sweetest person ever and my best friend and I've known her for ~10 years. Too bad she's a bit shy to upload her great drawings (which I know she has a lot!!). Ironically our tastes in about everything are very different, but she is very patient with me and my Aizen/Lucci-madness. xD

I have known for... 7 ½ months? We go to the same high school. In my scale our friendship hasn't lasted for very long yet, and we're still at the point where we learn new things about eachother, and that's great! I haven't seen too much of her artwork, but I know she has done seven surrealistic paintings which I can't wait for her to scan and upload!

Who I watch:
has the best grungy textures I know, and his photography is very interesting and expressive.

has some amazing digital art and I love her versatile use of colors.

draws great expressions (and Lucci!) and her drawings have some really nice concepts.

is a talented and inspirative photograher. I've always preferred traditional art to photography, but I really enjoy her experimental and somehow unembellished pictures.

is one of my long-time-favorites: he has original, ridiculously funny and well-executed ideas and comics, and he draws the best One Piece-fanarts I've seen (and makes black-and-white look so damn good). His easy-going style is something I aim for when drawing anime-fanart.
